What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a site stores in your browser. It lets the site remember things between pages and visits — that you are signed in, which language you picked, or that you already answered the cookie banner. Similar technologies such as local storage work the same way and are covered by this policy.
Strictly necessary cookies
These keep the site working and secure. They cannot be switched off, and we do not need consent for them because the service cannot run without them.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
posgiri_session |
Keeps you signed in and ties your requests to your session. | Session |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Protects forms against cross site request forgery. | Session |
posgiri_cookie_consent |
Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies, so we do not ask again. | 6 months |
Analytics cookies
These help us understand which pages people visit and where they run into trouble, so we can improve POSGIRI. They are optional. We do not load them at all until you accept — if you reject, the analytics script is never requested.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics — tells returning visits apart using a randomly generated id. | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics — keeps session state for the property. | 2 years |
Cookies we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not let third parties track you across other sites through POSGIRI.
How to change your choice
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page to bring the banner back and change your answer. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings, which will make the banner appear again on your next visit.
Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies entirely. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of POSGIRI from working, including staying signed in.
